Privacy Policy
We collect only what we need to answer your enquiry. This document explains what, why, for how long, and what rights you have. Last updated 14 August 2026.
Who processes the data
The controller is LumaWeb, the operator of lumaweb.sk. For any question about your personal data, contact us at hello@lumaweb.sk. We reply within 24 hours.
What we collect
The contact form is the only place on this site where personal data is collected. Through it you send your name, email address, optionally your website address and optionally a message. We ask for nothing else. We create no accounts, send no newsletter, and neither buy nor sell contact databases.
Why we process it
To answer your enquiry, prepare a quote or an audit, and to keep talking to you about working together. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in replying to a business enquiry). We do not use your data for profiling or automated decision-making.
How long we keep it
We keep form messages for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any work that follows, and at most 24 months from the last contact. After that we delete them. If you would rather not wait, write to us and we will delete them sooner. Where the law requires us to keep something longer, accounting records from an engagement for instance, we keep only that, and only for as long as required.
Who else sees it
We sell it to no one. Two processors are involved in delivering your message and running the site, and each receives only what the form contains or basic technical details of your visit:
Web3Forms
Delivers the submitted form to our mailbox. Your name, email, website address and message pass through it.
GitHub Pages
The server this site is served from. Like any web server it processes your IP address and browser details in its operational logs.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. There is no analytics, no advertising and no tracking script, which is why there is no consent banner for you to click away either.
Fonts are hosted on our own domain rather than fetched from someone else's server. Opening a page therefore sends no request from your browser to any third party, not until you submit the form yourself.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected, erased, restricted or ported, and to object to processing. Just write to hello@lumaweb.sk and we will handle it without undue delay.
If you believe we are handling your data incorrectly, you may lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava (dataprotection.gov.sk).
Changes to this document
If how the site works changes, if analytics or another tool were added for instance, we will update this document and change the date at the top. We are happy to supply an earlier version on request.
